S4 SOMETHING SPECIAL SHOWBAND SINGERS 2025 GIGS

S4: SOMETHING SPECIAL SHOWBAND SINGERS, 2nd Generation New Minstrels (1979) The S4, short for SOMETHING SPECIAL SHOWBAND SINGERS, 2nd Generation New Minstrels (1979), will be performing at the UST Med Tech Batch 1980 Reunion at the Savoy Hotel upon Jessica Casas's invitation to perform as a member of the batch. Ernie Mercado will be flying in from Australia to join the lineup, which also includes Grace Pimentel, Arlene Arcilla, Joseph (Joborn3) Olfindo, and Jessica Casas flying in from LA. Together, they will perform songs from their era, including hits like "SMILE," "BABAE KA," and "IKAW AKO TAYO MAGKAKAPATID." The band ceased performing in 1984 to focus on their families. Now, some members are retired and are returning to their passion for music. This reunion promises to open up opportunities for more performances by this multi-awarded, best lounge act of the 80s.
